Upon graduation, she entered medical school at the American University of the Caribbean, earning her Doctorate of Medicine. Her formative years included clinical rotations at prestigious institutions such as Johns Hopkins Associated Hospitals in Baltimore, Maryland, and Northwestern Associated Hospitals in Chicago.
While initially aspiring to become a cardiothoracic surgeon, Dr. Hoover’s path took a different turn after she was offered a fellowship at Johns Hopkins. Opting to prioritize her family, she ultimately chose the fulfilling field of family medicine. Her residency training at Florida State University solidified her passion for comprehensive patient care, shaping her into the dedicated physician she is today.
